THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Starlu Restaurant Review: Located on the ground floor of an office building whose entrance is on the side opposite the street, Starlu is a little hard to find, but it's worth the effort. Inside, you'll discover some of the most exciting contemporary American fare around, prepared by talented owner-chef Sam Poley and served in a casually elegant dining room that's evocative of a California bistro. The menu changes monthly, with offerings likely to include such fare as pan-seared wahoo with tomato consommé, spice-roasted North Atlantic salmon with poached white and green asparagus, double-thick pork chop with a warm Carolina sweet potato salad, and grilled rib-eye with foie gras butter. An eclectic, value-priced wine list that's well suited to the menu is icing on the cake.
