THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Steak Frites Restaurant Review:
This large-scale bistro, in the southwest corner of the West Village, serves all the classics in a comfortable and casual-chic setting. Don’t be put off by the neon sign out front---just step inside and settle into a menu of classic French bistro fare. The signature entrecôte de Paris, a dry-aged Angus rib-eye, is tender and juicy enough to satiate any hardcore carnivore. The pan-seared sea scallops, cushioned atop a mint-accented lobster risotto, is a show-stealer---especially when complemented by sides like hash browns fried in duck fat and truffle frites.
