Steelhead Brasserie & Wine Bar Restaurant Review: In the upmarket environment of Steelhead, the kitchen creates an accessible dining experience. A total revamp of décor introduces a modern, neutral-toned palette, with TVs accentuating the heightened casual vibe. Fish chowder remains a staple, along with such popular seafood dishes as scallops with butternut squash raviolis, and salmon with pancetta Brussels sprouts and jalapeño sauce. But the menu also promotes braised dishes and pastas. There’s a kids’ menu too. The pastry staff delivers comforting desserts such as dark and white chocolate tart, blood orange mousse and lychee rice pudding. All is à la carte. The eclectic wine list encompasses both old-world and new-world labels.
