THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Stevenswood Lodge & Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Stevenswood is an elegant haven on the Mendocino Coast nestled in a stand of redwoods. The lodge is comfortable; the restaurant, noteworthy. Chef Marc Dym’s menu reflects influences from the Caribbean, Europe and the Near East. Start with the cured gravlax tartare, then venture into entrées ranging from a pine-nut-encrusted salmon filet with basil oil and grilled Parmesan polenta to the dry-aged New York steak and the osso buco of lamb served with rosemary-garlic bread pudding. A well-developed wine list rounds out the menu.
