Sticky Rice Restaurant Review: Sticky Rice’s menu is an unpredictable cross between Japanese fare and mom’s home cooking. You can start off with tater tots or lettuce wraps (crispy tofu or stir-fried chicken) before moving on to an Osaka tuna sandwich (teriyaki glazed ahi with grilled pineapple) or bowls of noodles in vegan, gluten-free, seafood or meat varieties. Kids get their own choices: hot dog, grilled cheese or Oodles o’ Noodles. Crave sushi? It’s the specialty of the house (and half-off during select hours Mondays and Fridays). You’ll find a whole slew of choices, from fresh crab and octopus to “The Silence of the Yams” (a vegan futomaki roll with tempura-fried sweet potato, toasted coconut, avocado, radish sprouts and umeboshi plum paste). If you feel like a party, come Tuesdays for karaoke, but every night is full of fun and games. If take-out is in order, Sticky ToGoGo is directly across the street.
