Stock's on Second Restaurant Review: The half-price bar menu from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday is reason enough to drop in after work. Signature house-made Parmesan-dusted beet, sweet and Idaho potato chips and char-grilled burgers are on this menu, but heftier appetites may choose to sink their teeth into lamb tenderloins with candied walnuts and honey chipotle drizzle. The restaurant is known for its signature lumpier-than-most crab cakes in a delicate pool of red pepper coulis, and char-crusted, blue cheese-topped blackened strip steak and fries. Vegetarians aren't left out with risotto on the menu. Finish with Stock's long-running peanut butter pie --- it's been there since the beginning.
