Stone Flats founders Brad and Anne Mason were known among friends for their create-your-own flatbread parties, so they decided to create the restaurant with a plan to go nationwide. This healthy yet convenient lunch and dinner spot calls for guilt-free, stone-fired flats topped with humanely raised and hormone-free proteins (pork, chicken and beef) and local vegetables, with doughs and marinades made from scratch. Try one of the five custom-designed, under-500-calorie flats by executive chef Andy Johnson (formerly at Pacific Coast Grill). Fresh salads and house-made soups are available too. Sustainable and eco-friendly practices extend to the design, with the chairs made from recycled Coca Cola bottles and the wood on the walls derived from Wyoming snow fences.
