| This gastropub-like restaurant in Brooklyn’s Cobble Hill is attractively bedecked in light woods with a long, thick bar taking up one side. There are 24 revolving beers on tap, all of which are poured into 12-ounce glasses and come from small American craft breweries. The menu leans mostly toward small plates and heavily on the sea, with a very good raw bar (a shrimp cocktail with chipotle sauce is a nice touch; the refreshing fluke crudo should not be missed). Seared diver scallops are paired with English peas and ham, and neither takes away from the flavor of the scallop. Turf lovers should consider the spiced pork, which comes with a delectable cumin sauce. |
