 Sugar Bar+Deck+Lounge offers spectacular views of Hong Kong and the harbor from its perch 32 stories up. The east Hong Kong hotel’s parent company Swire established the Taikoo Sugar brand more than a century ago --– hence the name of the chic rooftop lounge. Take a seat on the outdoor patio or boogie away to the DJ on the glowing dance floor inside. There’s a short menu of small bites like calamari and braised beef shank rillettes, as well as a few pizzas. Allow one of the servers to suggest a creative cocktail such as the crisp and refreshing Basil Grande (Gran Centenario tequila, lime, grapefruit, peach and basil) or Tropical Cuba (Havana Club Blanco rum, lime, passion fruit and pear).
