Sugata Restaurant Restaurant Review

: Sugata looks and feels the way an intimate Japanese restaurant should. With only ten red and gold tables crammed into this tiny spot near the busy corner of Solano and San Pablo Avenues, the eatery remains one of the area's best kept secrets. The udon noodles are comforting, and the beef teriyaki donburi lunch is a winner. Sugata also presents sushi and sashimi dishes with appropriate aplomb and all items are always spotlessly fresh. Look for the reasonably priced lunch specials.

Sugata is top notch

I have been going to Sugata for 15 years now. Always get top rate sushi in a friendly local atmosphere. Family run restaurant with regulars who have been going there for decades. Has been there for over 30 years. Great formula well executed.
