With only ten red and gold tables crammed into this tiny spot near the busy corner of Solano and San Pablo Avenues, the eatery remains one of the area's best kept secrets. The udon noodles are comforting, and the beef teriyaki donburi lunch is a winner. Sugata also presents sushi and sashimi dishes with appropriate aplomb and all items are always spotlessly fresh.
