Sullivan's Steakhouse Restaurant Review:

It may be housed in a sleek office building in the Inner Harbor, but Sullivan’s wants you to believe that it is a refugee from the Humphrey Bogart era, when men were men and women were dames in slinky black dresses. The vibe is well-heeled machismo all the way, from the retro sign out front --- topped with a neon martini --- to the dark woods in the dining room and live jazz in the lounge. The food? Meat, of course: well-aged Midwestern strips, rib-eyes and filet mignon. Add some horseradish mashed potatoes, oysters on the half shell, an iceberg lettuce wedge with blue cheese, and a specialty martini (shaken, not stirred) for a satisfyingly retro manly meal. There’s also a roster of seafood dishes, including a Hong Kong-style sea bass and bacon-wrapped sea scallops with roasted corn-jícama slaw and peach barbecue glaze. Sullivan’s is a corporate chain, so don’t expect many regional specialties. Do anticipate, however, well-trained and genuinely friendly service.
