THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Summits Wayside Tavern Restaurant Review:

How many taverns can you find that make decent food? Not too many. But this outfit not only has good sandwiches, including a raft of burgers, but does nice seasonal fare as well. The Oktoberfest menu, for instance, offers among other appropriate specialties a lovely sliced knockwurst with red cabbage and potato pancakes. Whole grain mustard accompanies this, and there's enough on the plate for two meals. Low carb patrons will enjoy the ground buffalo wrap in lettuce leaf. Wings and things, sundry nosh fare and hefty specials mean one can use the place for a variety of dining purposes. Our complaint, besides lamentably slow service, is that food didn't come out hot enough. A gazillion beers, including high gravities and lots on tap, make variety the spice of one's visits.
