| You get the idea: The cheerful yellow flower is everywhere, brightening the interior of this very popular vegetarian restaurant. A throwback to the '60s, the Sunflower is dedicated to providing you with commune-type food with flair and obvious Asian overtones. Most dishes have a strong Japanese influence, although they also offer General Tso's Surprise (soy protein, not chicken), Curry Paradise (all ingredients are vegetables, not meat), and Chinese ma po tofu, which here obviously is not cooked with ground pork. It would be hard to come away hungry---there are flavors that should please all palates, vegetarian or not. |
