Located amid the bustling hub of Santa Monica Boulevard and 6th Street is where you'll find this industrial-chic version of the original family-owned Sunnin restaurant in Westwood. Along with the sleeker environs (concrete floors, cinder block shelves, mural walls), this outpost offers do-it-yourself service --- simply place your order at the counter, grab a number and your food will arrive courtesy of the friendly staff. While most of the menu echoes what you'll find at the original location, there are additional options including combo plates. Beef kebab and shish tawook are guest favorites, but there is plenty for vegetarians and vegans to enjoy, including the must-have garlic fries, moujadarah (pureed lentils), falafel and grape leaves.
