Super Taste lives up to its name. This seven-table no-frills Chinatown eatery serves up soups laden with your choice of meat or seafood and thick hand-pulled noodles that hail from the western Chinese town of Lanzhou. Employees prefer a style of communication with each other that favors screaming. Fortunately, the noodle soups they produce are a lot more pleasing on the senses. The spicy beef version is a must for first-timers: the deep cumin-laced broth, chunks of tender beef and bunches of noodles make for a soul-revitalizing meal. You’ll most likely be sweating by the time you’re halfway through the bowl.
