THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Susanna Pizzeria Restaurant Review:

An outpost of a mini-chain of pizzerias in Verona, Italy, Susanna (named for the owner’s mother) serves up decent pies on Bleecker Street. For those enthralled by the rash of Neapolitan pizzerias that are sprinkled throughout the Big Apple, Susanna is a refreshing change: the crust is thin and light. It could use a bit more crispiness in our opinion, but it’s generally good. Among the pizzas is the inventive Carbonara with mozzarella, egg, pancetta and Parmesan. Also worth a bite or two is the Affumicata sporting pancetta, mozzarella and smoky scamorza cheese. Pies come in small and large sizes.
