 A Midtown sushi joint that respects the art of raw and marinated dishes, Sushi-Ann is a connoisseur’s dream come true. Come here for some of the best---and most authentic---edomaezushi in town. And you won't find tempura or teriyaki. The Tokyo-trained chefs devote their full attention to creating fresh, traditional preparations like vegetable hand rolls of radish sprout or burdock. If it's available, try the salmon roe over grated Japanese white radish or the yellowtail with scallion and wasabi. The streamlined dining room is bright and minimal with blond wood accents that add to the Japanese atmosphere.
