Sushi of Gari Restaurant Review: After more than a decade, this Upper East Side sushi spot has found a loyal following. The reason is because of appetizers such as the daikon dengaku, steamed cold daikon radish topped with three kinds of miso sauce, and kani shumai, steamed crab dumplings. Main dishes include every type of sushi and sashimi---we recommend them all, from the seared foie gras sushi to the spicy tuna roll---though the regulars favor the omakase. |
