Sushi Para II Restaurant Review: Normally, we’re a bit skeptical about all-you-can-eat sushi joints. But this Lincoln Park spot pleasantly surprises us with fresh-tasting nigiri and creative rolls. It turns out, we’re not the only ones smitten: the owners have opened up two similar concepts, one on Diversey and another on Milwaukee in Bucktown. We’re partial to the Volcano roll (spicy yellowtail, tuna and salmon with tobiko and chili sauce); Fashion roll (crab, avocado and cucumber topped with tuna); and the spicy scallop roll. But be careful about ordering too much, since you’ll be charged for any leftover sushi or rice. This below-street-level restaurant also offers a lengthy selection of à la carte dishes. With very reasonable prices and a BYO policy to boot, don’t expect much in the way of décor or ambience.
