THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Suzette's Restaurant Review:
Colorful French paintings, comfortable period chairs and gleaming silver and crystal create a rich atmosphere in this cozy room where sparkling crystal chandeliers hang from a sky-blue ceiling. Suzettes manager Antoine, formerly with Londons Savoy and Paris Place Vendôme, decants wines from the impressive cellar with an old-world flair and finishes the food tableside with a flourish. The lobster bisque in a sourdough bowl is worth the splurge. Other recommended dishes: quails stuffed with wild rice and foie gras, and served with sun-dried cherry sauce; crabmeat-filled smoked sturgeon steaks over cappellini; and tournedos with truffles, foie gras and perigourdine sauce. Order a soufflé flavored with Grand Marnier or Chambord.
