| Tales of youthful entrepreneurship are not overstated here: two young G’town graduates have parlayed a class project into a blooming DC business. The result: a snazzy salad bar starring six house-created salads plus assemble-your-own choices and a few classic greens combos. These are not run-of-the-mill salad selections, but outsized for flavor and creativity. Our favorite: the guacamole greens salad, with a generous portion of grilled chicken strips, tortilla chips, avocado (of course) and a jalapeño-lime dressing. But a main draw is the barely sweet Greek frozen yogurt, tasty plain or accented by assorted toppings. This is a certified green restaurant, and it focuses on using local, sustainable vegetables when possible.
