| Awash in brown and pink, this whimsical blink-and-you'll-miss-it, sit-down storefront is the stuff of a Francophile's dreams. White linen tables, sparkling wine glasses and Parisian café tunes are civilized, while service is approachable, if sometimes unpredictable. Equally adept at both of its namesake eats, meals begin---and end---with seasonally inspired bounty. Prince Edward Island mussels are mouthwatering when finished with lemon, garlic and parsley; and butter-poached-lobster risotto with arugula and Grana cheese is luxurious and comforting at once. Do be sure to snag the lovely, super-crispy beef tallow frites, and---at meal's end---try the milk chocolate-walnut pie. And, if you come for brunch, look to dishes like eggs Benedict. |
