T.G.I. Friday's Restaurant Review: From Connecticut to California, what's not to like about a place where "every day is Friday"? Generous portions are a hallmark and the dishes are satisfying, too. You could make a feast from appetizers alone: quesadillas, potato skins and more. But you'll be just as happy if you skip straight to the Caribbean rum-spiced ribs --- baby-back ribs glazed with a jerk-inspired Caribbean rum sauce served with sweet potato fries and ginger-lime slaw and a pineapple pico de gallo garnish. Cajun chicken and shrimp sautéed with red bell peppers and served over fettuccine in a spicy Cajun Alfredo sauce is another hit. Can't make up your mind? Go for the Friday's Pick Three-For-All that allows you to choose from boneless or traditional wings, and two eclectic options like crispy green bean fries or pan-seared pot stickers. For the carnivore, Friday's offers one heck of a burger, and Atkins followers will find a special Atkins-approved menu. Desserts are generously portioned as well.
