T.G.I. Friday's Restaurant Review: Hordes of twenty-somethings and even ladies who lunch seat themselves at the familiar red-and-white-covered tables to peruse Friday's extensive menu, which ranges from nachos to filet mignon. Multi-level seating surrounds the huge center bar where lots of heavily garnished drinks, such as the Ultimate Margarita, pass across its polished surface. The friendly staff is outfitted in red and white with black suspenders and, against the backdrop of old posters, snow shoes, washboards, etc., strategically placed flat screens broadcast the latest sports event. A $6.99 lunch special delivers all you can eat soup, salad, bread and a soft drink---add $2 for the same deal after 4 p.m. |
