Table Café, formerly Tabla Café and still under the same ownership, is tucked into a small shopping strip in Larkspur. The brief but tempting menu based on many organic ingredients focuses on dosai---lacy Indian crêpes---as well as salads, fresh soup and sorbets. The crêpe batter is made with a flour of ground rice and urad dal, a type of lentil. Dosas come with a choice of three seasonal salsas such as pear chutney, apple-onion or orange-avocado. In season, there are a couple of pleasant tables on the sidewalk for outdoor dining.
