THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Tacqueria Guaymas Restaurant Review:
On weekends, the kitchen at this Mexican eatery makes a menudo (the tripe and hominy soup long touted as a hangover cure) that's recommended for those who have overindulged on margaritas at some other Mexican joint the night before. But you don't have to be hung-over to enjoy the savory tacos and burritos here. Soft tacos made with grilled corn tortillas come with a choice of filling---from chicken, chorizo or barbecue pork to beef cheeks, brains or tripe. Burritos are wrapped in flour tortillas and can be had "wet" (smothered in a vibrant sauce). Prawns in their shells are sautéed in butter and garlic or cloaked in a chili sauce. We are also fond of chicken in a spicy pipian sauce thickened with ground green pumpkin and sesame seeds.
