THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Taj Mahal Restaurant Review: The cuisine of Northern India is presented here in more elegant than usual surroundings. The graceful arches and domes of the Taj Mahal are echoed in the wallpaper and window treatments. The tacky buffet at one end vies with Venetian-style chandeliers and fresh flowers on every table. But from this buffet comes an affordable repast containing greaseless, puffy samosas and flavorful tikkas. The paratha is good with the fiery lamb vindaloo, and there are some tandoori dishes as well. Desserts are sweet and dairy-based-rice pudding, cheese patties and ice cream.
