Taj Restaurant Review: Seems there's always room these days for another Indian-fusion spot. Among carved teak doorways and sandstone statues, you can make like a raja and recline on an Indian daybed. While indulging in the sublime, sample the cuisine that includes delights like crispy skin pomegranate chicken with chickpeas, almonds, escarole and blackberry pomegranate juice; or charred hanger steak with calabaza-Yukon potatoes, green beans and ginger-coriander chimichurri. On the lighter side, try the peekytoe crab cakes with grapefruit, almonds, arugula and chili vinaigrette or the wild greens and cucumber salad with dates and paprika-cumin dressing. |
