THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Takosher Restaurant Review

: What is a greater testament to the multiculturalism of Los Angeles than Takosher, the first certified glatt kosher taco truck in the nation? Proprietor Lowell Bernstein’s tagline is “The Chosen Taco,” and his truck is an outgrowth of this Angeleno’s love of Latin cuisine. The truck’s lunch and dinner offerings include variations such as the "fujitas" (with tofu sautéed fajita-style), the original "brisketaco" (slow-cooked with sauerkraut, raisins and chili sauce for a sweet-hot quality), and "the chosen chicken," infused with citrus, chipotle and tropical fruit juices. Observant Jews and other interested foodies follow the truck's whereabouts on Twitter, of course.
