This child-friendly tap room and grill from partners Matthew Dolan and Chad Bourdon (Twenty Five Lusk) services an eclectic mix of mall shoppers, after-work commuters and sports fans in Westfield Centre’s evolving “Under the Dome” space. A mostly local rotation of 12 beers and 8 wines are available on tap, and a colorful craft cocktail line borrows choice selections from Twenty Five Lusk’s bar. Mocktails, milkshakes and natural sodas round out the drink offerings. Dolan’s elevated renditions of American grill standards draw heavily from the garden. A playful tuna tartare is marked by refreshing cilantro and mint, and served alongside an avocado mousse and barbecue potato crisps. Chunky organic hummus is paired with grainy, house-made wheat pitas, and the pickled vegetable selection is among the best we’ve tried. The house “Tap burger,” which incorporates crunchy tempura bacon, pickled red onion and togarashi rémoulade, is not to be missed. The all-American dessert menu includes brownies, donuts and ice cream.
