Tartine Bistro Restaurant Review: Tartine Bistro strives to provide the comfort and ambience of a European café with décor of exposed brick, an old dark-wood bar and chandelier lighting. The cozy dining room is long and narrow, accommodating thirty-eight; there is additional seating at the bar and, weather permitting, on the patio overlooking Old River. The one-sheet seasonal menu is constantly evolving and features appetizers, salads, tartines, pizzas, entrées and sides. The namesake tartines are a savory indulgence --- try the duck confit with creamy Brie, roasted shallots and fig jam. Desserts are also noteworthy and change frequently (we especially like when there’s a bread pudding in rotation). To accompany dinner, Tartine has a solid selection of reasonably priced wines, including a good variety of by-the-glass pours.
