Taste Cafe & Bistro Restaurant Review: We long for the once smallish space serving look-forward-to comfort food. Sure, prices are more than just, but it’s hit-or-miss on the menu. A fine artichoke soup is deftly balanced, but a salmon carpaccio starter falls victim to an errant squeeze bottle. Swordfish may arrive overcooked, but sand dabs are just right. You might, too, scratch your head at the servers: all wear chefs’ coats, but (hint) the real chef wouldn’t think to deliver the wrong salad or swipe your plate too soon.
