The Tavern Company Restaurant Review: The Tavern Company has a bistro-meets-tap 'tude, serving up everything from beer, wings and burgers to a soft shell crab po’ boy with a spicy Creole mayo. Other finds include a walleye fish fry as well as pulled short ribs served with crispy onions. Owner Chris Armington and chef Jamie Wynbrandt continue to evolve the menu. Happy hour offers specials such as $1 off any drink or shot and $2 off small plates. Expect wooden tables and booths, an enormous moose head over the bar, and a relaxed vibe.
