The menu at Tempo is everything you’d expect from a coffee shop---and more. The restaurant is open around the clock, but the heaviest action comes during breakfast, when the regulars tuck into the fluffy, ingredient-packed omelets and french toast. Still, there is considerable Rush Street spillover during the wee hours, when a.m. eats arrive before the effects of coffee kick in. Our faves include the fluffy three-egg omelet loaded with feta cheese, onions and tomato (the Greek); or asparagus and cheddar; or fresh mushrooms and Swiss cheese. We also suggest the skillets, particularly when accompanying Greek toast is slathered with homemade marmalade.
