Texas Jack's Barbecue Restaurant Review:
This Clarendon spot is run by Matt Lang, an experienced pitmaster who has even barbecued and smoked on Food Network. He named his restaurant after a famous Virginian who became a legendary cowboy, perhaps even smoking meats in Texas. But today’s Texas Jack’s serves out brisket, ribs, chicken, Mexican sausages and pulled pork preceded by a starter plate of smoked-meats nachos bathed in gooey cheese. You can choose your meats as separates or in combo platters, but either way, you will want the dessert: Key lime pie. Check out the drinks list, and order a kicking cocktail or some locally brewed beers.
