| For a barbecue joint, Texas Ribs serves a diverse menu of other foods, too. The menu includes quesadillas and chili, steamed shrimp, steak and more. We’ve even watched light eaters nibbling on salads. But why not enjoy what this restaurant does best? Ribs. Dry-rubbed and smoky, they come in the usual full or half racks. If you’re hungry, order the whole rack, plus the pit potato---a baked potato that cooks with the meat and soaks up the drippings. Even if you overeat, be sure to take home one of their made-on-the-premises pies. Everyone loves this food, so the place is apt to be crowded---you may even hear some Texas drawls.
