THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Thai Bistro Restaurant Review: Casually chic décor and sophisticated Thai fare draw in-the-know diners to this Rocklin eatery. With classy art that decks the walls, soft lighting that's just right, and a vibrant color scheme, you'll feel like you stepped foot into a classy New American spot. But a few Asian touches, like Buddhist altars and gorgeous tapestries hanging from the ceiling, conjure up a distinctly Thai ambience. Like the atmosphere, the plating is much more sophisticated than it has to be, with elaborately carved fruits and vegetables garnishing many entrées. The encyclopedic menu has all the dishes you know and love from the Southeast Asian nation. Order with caution, as Thai food tends to be very spicy, even for diners who love heat. Luckily, the kitchen will happily adjust the level of spiciness of any dish at your request. Among the highlights of the 72-item menu are broiled pork- and crab-stuffed prawns and deep-friend stuffed chicken wings. Red duck curry, beef salad, and pork moo young are also worth trying. Traditional desserts include Mango sticky rice and tapioca pudding.
