Thai Cafe Restaurant Review:

Thai Café satisfies cravings for Southeast Asian spice and flavor. Tom yum goong soup, a Thai restaurant mainstay, is filled with shrimp, lemon grass and cilantro. The soup’s heat can be balanced with rice paper rolls, which are served cold, stuffed with vegetables and shrimp, and accompanied by homemade sweet-and-sour sauce. Brave souls may order entrées “Thai Hot,” guaranteeing a good mouth burning, yet the flavor is still present, as in the green curry. Cooked in coconut milk, it’s laden with red bell pepper, lime leaf, basil and a choice of chicken, beef, pork, tofu, vegetables, shrimp or seafood. Pineapple fried rice contains a medley of scrambled eggs, tomatoes, garlic and cashew nuts, and like the curry, it can be ordered with various proteins. Though the dining room is cozy and colorful, Thai Café is especially good for a lazy afternoon take-out meal to enjoy at a movie or in front of a fire.
