Thai Luang Restaurant Review: One of the pioneers of Thai food in the suburbs long before this cuisine became so trendy, Thai Luang has retained a consistently loyal following, even though its cooks have come and gone. Lunches are popular with local office workers, and dinners beckon the suburban crowd. The décor is understated Thai, with just enough traditional trinkets and portraits of the Thai royal couple to add a certain air of authenticity. The menu has undergone occasional overhauls, but fortunately retains our favorite dish, the soup filled with fresh wide rice noodles and strips of crispy roast duck. We also recommend the duck with sweet basil and the green curry chicken. Ask about the homemade Thai desserts.
