THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED That's Amore Restaurant Review:
Possibly the first Italian restaurant in the DC area to launch the family-size portions (that is, one order may feed two) plan, this popular eatery embraces the idea that more is more. However, most dishes are now marked Solo, yet the portions are really ample. We applaud such appetizers as their Fried Mozzarella Carrozza, a luscious and caloric taste of fried and battered Italian bread topped with mozzarella, prosciutto, and basil and bathed in marinara and pesto caper cream. The antipasto Freddo plus a salad could make an ample lunch, but then youd pass up their ultra spicy sausage, peppers, and onions. Theres plenty here to appeal to everyone in the family, from pasta dishes to chicken, veal, seafood, and steaks. Check out their side dishes as well (and their homemade desserts, including tiramisu, cannoli, gelato, cheesecake, bread pudding and Gelato Paradisio, a dazzling sundae with ice cream and hot fudge.
