THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED That's Amore Restaurant Review: Communal feasting on hearty, peasant-style Italian fare---thats what this place is all about. So bring your own platoon and commandeer a long table beneath the twinkling Tivoli lights. Order dishes by the platter, any of which feed two to four people, and the choices are many: risotto Milanese, thick with woodsy mushrooms and Parmesan cheese; two pounds of strip steak Vesuvio piled high with roasted potatoes; rich osso bucco sparked with gremolata;, seafood ziti chock full of goodies in a bold tomato sauce; and more. The surprise is that the food is very good, and theres a nicely priced wine list to match. Of course with such a feeding frenzy going on, the place can be boisterous. In a recent development, the menu is also being offered in more modest portions for the single diner.
