The Thistle Inn Restaurant Review: This mid-eighteenth century, six-room inn, tavern and grill offers a mix of fine and casual cuisine year-round. Slurp oysters sourced from nearby Glidden Point topped with a pomegranate mignonette. Lobster is on the menu, of course, in a spicy paella with Maine shrimp and chorizo with saffron risotto cake. The rack of lamb is balanced with black garlic mashed potatoes and steaks are aged in-house. The pub is a good stop after a walk on a nearby beach, and the experience may end with crème brûlée or a warm chocolate brownie. |
