THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Tin Can Fish House & Oyster Bar Restaurant Review:

The larger of two Tin Can seafood-focused restaurants by siblings and Zimbabwe-born and -reared Arte Antoniades and Nik Panagopoulos, this location offers a bigger menu than the Brookhaven edition and more seating. The interior suggests a casual, neighborhood American-style pub with an emphasis on rough-textured finishes and wood-topped tables that sport fish-themed nuggets of wisdom, some extolling the virtues of eating fin fare. Dishes are rustic comfort fare, both British (fish and chips) and American, the latter usually from the South (although New England clam chowder merits a spot among the selections). We enjoyed a cup of the seafood stew, thick with vegetables and pieces of fish and shellfish in a light tomato broth. Oysters "Rockerfella" has the now-classic spinach topping but we're grateful to report without the Parmesan so many chefs add. No Pernod, though, unfortunately. For dessert, there's a nontraditional but tasty tres leches cake. A short wine list has a number of decent choices, including several from South Africa. The Brampton Sauvignon Blanc from Stellenbosch was most serviceable with the oysters. Ask about special events held every year. The other outpost is at Town Brookhaven, 705 Town Blvd., Ste. 320, 404-228-2806.
