Town Brookhaven's development of offices and businesses includes restaurants, among them a casual, spiffy, seafood-devoted enterprise from sister and brother Arte Antoniades and Nik Panagopoulos. Born and reared in Zimbabwe, the pair also owns Tin Can Fish House & Oyster Bar in Sandy Springs. The smaller Tin Can Oyster Bar has a more limited menu composed of what Panagopoulos likes to call "sharing foods." Thus, the toasties adorn good H&F bread with a variety of toppings. Specialty oysters whose specifics change weekly are the focus, and we like the raw bivalves with either lemon or the simple but flavor-enhancing mignonette. Also good are the 1/2 pound mussels prepared with white wine, garlic, lemon, olive oil and parsley. This is one of the few Atlanta restaurants to offer both Manhattan and New England clam chowders. Lobster rolls and various grilled cheese sandwiches round out the menu. Pick between two desserts to end the meal. The wine list is not especially oysters supportive, although the choices are decent. Beers might be more attractive. Happy hour is from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
