A million-dollar renovation transformed the old Brown Dog Tavern into a sleek Arabian steed of a place. Moroccan cuisine is the culinary buzz, and this place does it up right. In fact, the atmosphere, some of it as luxe as a Bedouin prince's tent, outshines the food. However, we do find the tagines to be splendid, especially the lamb. Other samplings find us leaning more American---sage and roasted garlic soup---than Moroccan, but the experience overall is satisfying.
