THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED TOI Restaurant Review: THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED Offering a new form of Thai fare that blends Thailand's exotic and mystic culture with a contemporary twist, Toi's menu is unlike anything you've seen before. Chef Michael Miho has created selections that tie all of these elements together, while keeping the true essence of Thai cuisine. Unlike other Thai restaurants, Toi offers reasonably priced small plates designed for sharing. Fanciful names give a hint of what's to come with such favorites as Tiger's Paw, a salad medley of raw papaya, cucumber and mango; Forest Field Garden, a sambal of portobellos, wilted tat-sol and singing noodle salad; and Enlightened Jungle Prince, a feast of toasted cashews, basil, pork, lobster and chili. Select a rice to fit your mood from a selection of jasmine, fried jasmine with cashews, forbidden black rice or sticky rice either plain or with coconut and mango. Toi's contemporary atmosphere is created with clean, flowing lines and artistic, Zen-like touches, and happy hour is a see-and-be-seen scene.
