Tommy's Restaurant Review:

Tommy's fun, casual atmosphere is punctuated by a lively (sometimes downright rowdy) crowd of twenty- and thirty-somethings lounging in red vinyl booths. But it is important to know one thing: Tommy's is about tequila, as the entertaining bartenders can attest. A myriad of tequilas are available from light and silky to strong and earthy, to downright smoky. Some go to Tommy's to taste tequilas like others taste fine wine, but most go for the strong lime margaritas. The straightforward menu isn't the focus here, but plays a good supporting role. Bar snacks include a plateful of nachos and cheesy quesadillas. And those sitting down to dinner can expect chimichangas, burritos and enchiladas with the requisite rice and beans. Yucatán-style specialties such as roasted tomato pork or steak slathered in sweet onions are a payoff for the adventurous.
