THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Tom's Oyster Bar Restaurant Review:
The largest of the oyster bars, this location has a slightly different atmosphere from the others, with more of a dining room than a casual saloon look because of the architecture of the old building, with some tables and booths in cozy alcoves. It shares a roof with the fine Italian restaurant Il Posto. The menu and friendly feeling are much like the other Toms, and the oysters just as fresh. Fish and seafood are served with the house trimmings that have become a tradition since the first Toms opened in Grosse Pointe Park in 1985:coleslaw, corn-on-the-cob and red skin potatoes.
