Top of the Riverfront Restaurant Review: Day or night, the view from the 28th floor is captivating. The daylight option is a family-friendly Sunday brunch, with a seemingly endless buffet meandering from sushi and lox through omelet and carving stations to huge wedges of carrot and red velvet cakes. Diligent servers make sure the mimosas are always topped off. The vistas taking in the Arch, the downtown skyline, the riverfront, the Budweiser complex and Busch Stadium are equally vivid at night, during the more formal dinner hour. Expect appetizers like slow-roasted-tomato tart with buffalo mozzarella and entrées such as eggplant napoleon with couscous and seasonal vegetable ragoût, or St. Louis pepper steak with Cognac-mustard sauce. |
