Trattoria No. 10 Restaurant Review: Trattoria No. 10 has been around for years, and it's as good as it ever was. The contentment factor here is directly linked to consistency, quality and the understanding that Italian food does not have to be complicated. The menu changes often, but core dishes are always available. Lunch and dinner offerings are pretty much the same and handmade ravioli is the star of the show. Other enjoyable options are the ricotta gnocchi with rapini, butter-poached leeks and lemon ricotta as well as shrimp with black tagliatelle and grilled peppers in a spicy white wine sauce. For dessert, we suggest the almond-ricotta cheesecake. The wine list covers all the important regions of Italy, and the prices are fair. Service is informed, and the romantic, old-world setting --- grotto-like with dramatic lighting and artwork --- is date-worthy. Adding to the appeal, the restaurant has been certified by the Green Restaurant Association.
